There is no need to be nervous about having sedation dentistry at our Lehigh Valley practice. You will find we are both respectful and professional at all times. Sedation dentistry is closely regulated by law, and there are two sedative states at which we can administer your treatment: Nitrous oxide inhalation “laughing gas” is a form of mild-to-moderate sedation that results in relaxation during treatment. Endodontic treatment treats the inside of the tooth. Endodontic treatment is necessary when the pulp becomes inflamed or infected. The inflammation or infection can have a variety of causes: deep decay, repeated dental procedures on the tooth, faulty crowns, or a crack or chip in the tooth. In addition, trauma to a tooth may cause pulp damage even if the tooth has no visible chips or cracks. Learn more about Root Canals & Extractions
At Kenney Dental, we use digital x-rays during your dental exam as a diagnostic tool to detect decay, damage or disease that is not visible to the naked eye. Although digital x-rays require some exposure to low levels of radiation, we use a leaded apron and techniques that minimize your exposure and make our dental x-ray exams completely safe. White fillings are composite resin (not to be confused with true porcelain) containing a mixture of acrylic plastics, quartz fillers and colorants. With today’s technology, you no longer have to suffer the embarrassment of unsightly silver/mercury fillings or metal margins of the past. State-of-the-art, tooth-colored resin materials are used to replace dark, looking amalgam fillings. Learn more about White Fillings
